A mysterious case to be pondered on. If you have ever been to Block 53, FMS block just nearby the convention centre.. try walking up the stairs or taking the lift. Do you ever see a level 2 button in the lift? walk up by stairs and you can see the door with a "DANGER. Keep Out" pasted on the door and the door is locked. why so? How can ever a huge institution of learning ever close down the whole level for?
Heres the story:
The past was, a student had commited suicide there and they warded off the whole level as superstition and spiritually it isn't a great environment for students anymore (since someone had really commited suicide), thus they have closed it down. Believe it or not is all up to you. but here we provide the myths so everyone will know (:

It's said to be that one of the toilet in Ngee Ann Poly's block 73 to be haunted. If you dare to take a look at the toilet, you will see that the toilet is red in colour. Why is it red in colour? Curious? YES! You have come to to the right place to ease your curiosity. Rumours were spread around the school and here's a copy of the student information.
Long long time ago, about many many years ago, a boy was being mocked and laughed at by both his classmates and lecturer. So one day he couldn't take it anymore, weeping, crying, sobbing, he rushed to the toilet. He committed suicide by slashing himself and blood stains were splashed all over the wall. When the body was discovered, the blood stains couldn't removed. Thus, they painted the wall white again to cover the blood stains. But the eerie thing about it, was that the blood stain kept coming back even though it's been painted over and over again. Upon painting the walls umpteen times, they decided to give up and just paint then wall red to blend in with the blood stains.

Have you ever been to the Ngee Ann's Swimming pool at the Sports Complex near Canteen 2? Ngee Ann Polytechnic was built over an old cemetery in the past. It is also said to be a Japanese camp during the World War II as it was near the old Ford Factory. There's been some rumours in the past long ago, that a student went inside the swimming pool at night. When he was training, he saw a coffin manoeuvring at the bed of the pool. Terrified he was, he quickly swam out of the pool and headed straight home. It was said that he fell sick and wasn't his normal self after he met with the paranormal experience. He had to see a shrink. After that incident, he quited his CCA and didn't dare to go near the swimming pool anymore.

Do you guys ever heard of any rumours going on about LT5A at block 5? It is said that spooky events often happen after 5pm. As heard from a lecturer who declined to be identified, claimed that she had saw the black figure with her own eyes. Like usual school days, she ended her lecture at 5pm. But decided to stay back for awhile to sort out her handouts for the next day lecture group. As she was focusing on her stuff, she saw a black figure moving about at the back of the hall. And when she looked up, it disappears. Thinking that maybe her eyes were playing tricks on her, she shrugged it off her shoulder. Then after, she turned around to clean the whiteboard, she felt someone was standing and breathing heavily behind her back. She could actually see the black figure at the corner of her eyes. This immediately sent chill down her spine. Just as she decided to leave the hall, she saw the black figure flashed across her exiting through the main door. Believe it or not, try and enjoy your stay in that hall at 5pm. Maybe you will be able see more 'things' than the lecturer did.

the "darkest area"This was on the holy sacred place in ngee ann. It was locked, but somehow managed to climb in to take the photos. so yea. rather creepy, everywhere was pitch dark though it was in the day time. the lights was not functioning, we just have to pave our way through with the help of sunrays. We also felt sudden gush of wind howling around us. (the photos were not photoshop-ed in any way.)
From what we had know, this myth was about a student who commited sucide at the staircase, after he had failed his examination, he felt terrible, didnt want to inform his parents about the results, eventually he decide to end himself. Till now, the bloods stain on the stairs can not be wash away. And the blood stain on the side railing could not be painted over, as the blood stains will still reappeared no matter how you paint that area.

Do Ghost Exist in Ngee Ann?
A very warm welcome to our insights of the investigations of paranormal beings in Ngee Ann Polytechnic's campus itself. Here's a question, do you believe that ghosts co-exists in Ngee Ann? Well, after searching through many online forums, search engines we managed to find these two pictures (above). We found some unusual and shocking news/stories too. This picture was said to be taken years ago. We still have no clue on how did that "unknown figure" appear inside one of the classrooms, when the room was locked. Apparently, the person who took the photos freaked out and ran when he saw the figure and faster took a snapshot of it (low quality camera during that time). He soon feel ill not long after taking the photos. So you decide, whether it's true or not. Due to the school's policy, we were forbidden to spill out the venue of the classroom that the incident took place.7:54 AM
